Zhu Jia JIao-Venice of Shanghai

May 1, the long holiday begins. It was the first long weekend I spent in China. Me and my family went to Zhu Jia Jiao (朱家角). It is a nice place and not far away from Shanghai city. They've got a lovely river and many rustic shops selling handmade souvenirs. You are supposed to see the way the people live and work etc, but it's getting much commercialized and rather superficial. Btw, they charge tourists at 10 Yuan per entry, but there's an unlocked side gate which you can simply walk through without paying. ;-)

Shanghai Auto Show 2007

It was my first time to attend to Auto Show in China. It was great, at least more than what I expected. The place is huge in Pu Dong, Shanghai, nice cars and hot chicks every where in the exhibition centre. Me and my family spent more than 5 hours in there and I believe that we did not have enough time to go to each of them. The most disappointed thing was we could not try to get into the cars and feel them as a driver, especially the future concepts and the imported ones.
